Everyday Robots

The front man of the popular Brit-band Blur and creator of the renowned Gorillaz, Damon Albarn, is releasing a much anticipated solo album this year that's expected to come out April 28th. Albarn has been known for never releasing an entirely solo album. His existing credited albums are composed of unfinished, Syd Barrett-esq songs, an opera Albarn helped create, and Malian Musicians. Albarn's voice and style has been recognizable and true throughout the years, and the upcoming album is sure to keep it that way through evidence of the recently released single "Everyday Robots". It reflects an evocative look into childhood and the trite of the modern age. The album will feature artists such as Brian Eno, Natasha Khan from Bat for Lashes, and a small choir from a local church of Albarn's childhood.

Albarn is strong in his Brit roots and has matured culturally to create a resume of albums and bands that have crushed the billboards and musical standards.
