What's good all you moshers and stage-divers? Zach here, with your WPNR Mosh News!
As promised, I have your show news for this December, along with some exciting news about Summer Festivals!
Hometown Heroes Polar Bear Club are coming back to 'Cuse after a run on the AP Tour with BMTH and ABR! They'll be at Lost Horizon on Friday, December 10th along with Another Breath, Make Do And Mend, The Curl and Drag and Current. I'll be there myself! So come down, say hi, and rage the night away!
Armor For The Broken will be at Valentines in Albany Sunday December 12th. Should be a good one. AFTB will be supported by Lions Tigers and Bears. (oh my?)
MADBALL!!!!! is coming to Bogies in Albany on December 17th! And yes, all those extra exclamation points were necessary to properly show how stoked I am for this one. You can bet these NYHC legends are going to tear the venue apart, along with Bitter End and Lionheart! No rhyme intended.
The "Ghosts of Hardcore Past" will be at Valentines in Albany Saturday, December 18th. The show features Pointblank, Cancer, After The Fall, Slackjaw, Infidels and more! Don't be a scrooge, this isn't a show you'll want to miss!
Job For A Cowboy will also be playing on the 18th at Clifton Park Northern Lights but I don't care about that.
The Acacia Strain is scheduled to play at Bogies in Albany on December 19th according to Bogies' myspace. I couldn't find a flyer however, and it isn't listed on the band's myspace. So, do some research for yourselves and let me know what you can find out!
Stillborn Fest 2010 is also coming to Lost Horizon on December 27th! The show features Hatebreed, who are being supported by: A Life Once Lost, Thy Will Be Done, The World We Knew, Hate Your Guts, Ghost Ship, and Nine Round. Sounds like a total rager!
And now some Summer Festival News!
A Day To Remember has announced in an interview that they will be playing WARPED TOUR 2011, and judging by the success of their last album its safe to say they'll be on the Main Stage. Yay? Kevin Lyman, founder of Warped Tour has announced that they will be announcing bands officially starting This Wednesday, December 8th!
*The Entire Line up or Bamboozle has been announced*
A Loss For Words, Born of Osiris, Senses Fail, Vanna, Texas In July, New Found Glory Featuring MARKY RAMONE! Circa Survive, Transit, Oceano, Chelsea Grin, Streetlight Manifesto, and more.
And the big headliner: A Day To Remember. Can't say I'm surprised, to be honest.
If you have any information on other shows happening in the Central New York region be sure to let me know and I'll add them in on next week's blog!
Until then: Mosh hard, or not at all!
