The Audiophile

Hey guys, It's Ashley here once again with your weekly alternative update!

Albums
Say Anything's new album Anarchy, My Dear drops March 13. Their single titled "Say Anything" is available now on itunes. Here's a link to the link to a teaser of their documentary The Making Of Anarchy My Dear. I hate to say it, but I was thoroughly disappointed when I heard the album. They seem to be lacking their usual screw the world attitude and spunk that their fans loved, and really any sort of musical originality. I'll let you be the judge.

After almost ten years of bad luck The Jealous Sound's latest album A Gentle Reminder was released this month. I previewed each track and actually enjoy their sound quite a bit. I was partial to the song "Your Eyes Were Shining" which is a tad more mellow than the rest of the album, but I definitely suggest checking them out.

Shows
Every Time I die is on tour this month, and if you want to see an amazing show, be sure you don't miss out. I've seen them five times and they never disappoint. Their latest album Ex-Lives drops on March 6, and I have reason to believe it may be one of their best records to date.
Check them out:
Northern Lights, Clifton Park Feb. 16 (see you there)
Lost Horizon , Syracuse Feb 18

That's all I have for you guys this week. Be sure to tune in to WPNR 90.7 FM on Mondays at 10 for my show The Hipster 100, and again on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 for The Identity Crisis with my good friend Becky.

See ya!
