Sup dudes, Zach here with all your hardcore/metal news.
Not very "hardcore" but I just gotta say something about the fact that Taking Back Sunday's "Tell All Your Friends" record is 10 years old today. Holy crap, do I feel old. TAYF is probably one of the best pop punk albums of all time, and as a huge pop punk fan I just needed to mention something about it.
Anyway, you can check out new releases from Stick to Your Guns, Wretched and God Forbid today. Out of the 3 the STYG record "Diamond" really stands out to me the most. STYG goes hard on this new full length, a good follow up to The Hope Division, which I doubted they could match with this new record. Give em a listen, they're all worth your time.
Of Mice And Men vocalist Austin Carlile is back in the hospital with heart issues. Carlile was born with a heart malfunction, and had to take some time off because of it a year or so back. Hopefully he can get back on his screamin' grind before OMAM takes the stage at Warped Tour this summer.
It's almost rage season folks. I'll have your full list of April/May shows coming to our fine area of New York on Friday. Until then here's a little sneak peak for you. The Summer Slaughter 2012 lineup has been announced! Acts include, Cannibal Corpse, Between The Buried And Me, The Faceless, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Job For a Cowboy, and a few more to be announced. Get stoked.
