APOCRYPHON

What's up metal heads?! Jamie from the Metal CATS typin' at ya. I have some great news. The sludgemasters from The Sword---->just released their latest record today, 10/22/12, called Apocryphon.  

I've been listening to the album since I woke up this morning, and so far the, the cd is bitchin'. I downloaded the cd on Spotify and it came with 4 live songs along with a Cheap Sunglasses by ZZ Top cover along with the 10 new songs of Apocryphon. These live songs, too, are friggen' awesome. Right now I'm listening to the song Seven Sisters and the riff is beyond funky. The Sword continues to have badass lyrics complimented with heavy, yet groovy well put together riffs.This cd could possibly be the best record released by The Sword to date. It sounds like the best parts of all their prior cds put into one beautiful masterpiece. Needless to say, I dig this record thus far and I would suggest that anyone who thinks stoner/sludge metal is rad should totally pick this record up. Eyes of the Stormwitch<--- take a listen to their new lyric video of the 9th song of Apocryphon.
