Breaking Dawnnnnn
This thanksgiving weekend
treated the box office very well. The box office was breaking records between “Twilight
Breaking Dawn part 2”, “Lincoln”, and “Sky fall” the box office pulled in
millions of dollars. Twilight bought in 43,070,000, Sky Fall bringing in 36,000,000,
and in third place Lincoln with 25,020,000 dollars. Not bad for just three
days. I personally went to go see Twilight this weekend, and I must say I was
not disappointed. I laughed and I cried, and those two emotions make a great
movie. But one thing that stood out for
me was the soundtrack. Twilight is known for creating amazing soundtracks
Remember “Decode” by Paramore for the first movie, played that song every
day!!! New Moon was filled with new artist and some very seasoned artist like
Muse, and Death Cab for Cutie. Eclipse
had many more indie artists, and one song that caught my heart was “My Love’ BY
Sia . It was played in the scene when Edward and Bella are heavily making out
on the bed, when we all thought they were finally going to get it in. But they
didn’t lol
In the
first part of Breaking Dawn the songs were repeats from former movies. The
situation was right since it was the
beginning to the end. My personal favorite soundtrack has to be the Breaking Dawns
second part. The songs are amazing, so passionate and fit the movie completely
. One of my favorites is A Thousand Years, Pt. 2 (feat. Steve Kazee)
- Christina Perri , which was used in the end when Bella is
allowing Edward to see all her memories she has ever had between them. Let’s
say because of this song I cried so hard. One other song I love is “Heart of
Stone” by IKO .
Twilight
might be over, but the DVD will come out soon, and the music will forever live
on. !!! I am proud to say I am and will always be a twi heart !!!!!
